Mission Belt: Nylon Collection

DIMENSIONS: 40mm Buckle and 1.5″ Nylon Strap
The Nylon Collection Mission Belt works great on motorcycle riding pants, daily jeans and even dress slacks. I’ve worn this belt for thousands of miles on my adventure motorcycle, most days with jeans and even to a wedding, over the past 4 months. The versatility, durability and stylish looks are impressive. The thing that separates this belt from most others is the no-holes design, which utilizes a ratcheting mechanism.
The ratchet mechanism is built into the metal belt buckle and the plastic ratcheted ladder is sewn into the back of the belt strap. The belt just slides through the ratcheting mechanism effortlessly, allowing you to fine tune the fit each time you put it on, as it adjusts in 1/4″ increments, instead of the normal 1″ increments found on traditional belts. It is then super easy and smooth to release, with just the push of a small lever on the side of the buckle.
Mission Belt tries to push their main selling point as: “no worries of stretched-out, ugly, embarrassing holes ever again.” I must admit that I’ve never been embarrassed by the holes in my belt, no matter how big or ugly they have gotten. On the flip side of that coin, I’m impressed with the clean look and functionality of the no-holes ratcheting track design that Mission incorporates into all its belts.
Mission Belt offers a huge range of buckle colors and belt styles. They are interchangeable, but need to match up with one of the two width options they offer, 35mm and 40mm. One of the best parts about this belt is that you can buy a larger size and then cut it to the length that you want, although they do offer each belt in 4 sizes. This allows you to customize how much tail you want for your specific waist size.
An added bonus to buying this quality belt is that Mission Belt donates one dollar from every belt sale to Kiva loans. This organization aims to fight hunger and poverty through micro-lending, with loans ranging from $25-$500. These small loans help millions of industrious motivated people create a better life for themselves, their families and their communities.
Besides the philanthropic efforts, clean aesthetic, impressive durability and smooth operating mechanism, my favorite features are honestly the bright orange webbing look and the imprinted topo pattern on the backside of the belt. I’ve used the same worn out black leather traditional belt for years now, but don’t think I’ve worn it once since I got my Mission Belt, back in August. I highly suggest giving this belt a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, and you’ll also be supporting a great cause.
