This was the 8th annual Toys For Tots Off Road Toy Drive, located at Camp Pendleton this year. The event was sponsored by Trasharoo and American Adventurist, and supported by the overland and off road communities. The event is a Fri-Sun camping weekend at the Lake O’Neill campground on the military base. It is a gathering of extremely diverse adventurers who appreciate offroad travel, quality food and adult beverages around the campfire. This year 897 toys were donated to Toys For Tots, which should make a lot of kids in need happy this holiday season.
Besides the toy giving there was also a lot of giving out of amazing overland/offroad prizes from tons of great sponsors who stepped up to support the event. These guys brought an entire Jeep load of toys to donate, and got a big trophy in recognition of that awesomeness. It’s always great to meet internet friends in person, and find out they are even cooler in real life!Axial RC cars are fun for the whole family.
