When I started ExploringElements.com I also started a YouTube channel to showcase new productions and create a home for some of my old films from the Go Big Distribution days, when I represented Fluid Kayaks in North America, and my old personal Vimeo channel. The following are a few of the fun films from the past decade of boating and traveling. I look forward to sharing better films with much higher production quality in the future:)
Such an amazing experience! Action packed short video of some spectacular kayak action on one of the grandest rivers in the world. I just wish I had shot even more lifestyle video on this trip, as the overall experience is really what made this trip special. Think held up at gunpoint in Zimbabwe, malaria, major 3rd degree burns from a campfire and lighter fluid incident, hippos, crocs, multiple flat tires, and so much more. Such a fun trip! I love this edit and really had a blast doing the Colorado kayak festival circuit this year. Tons of lifestyle footage, as Seth and I really hamed it up on this trip;) Also check out the ’06 CO Trip film with a lot of other characters, including “The Dogg”, Leif Anderson, and Graeme Anderson.
17,000′ vertical in one day, and fresh turns for all of it, what’s not to like:) For sure the “Egg Basket” run was the best turns I’ve ever made on skis. Sadly this trip got me addicted to the costly idea of Cat or Heli trips more often. I’m looking forward to finding more fresh turns like this in the future.
